What it is...


The purpose of this blog is to provide access to swimming workouts for swimmers that are traveling or otherwise away from their respective groups or coaches, and do so in a format that is entertaining. Below you will find the daily workouts completed by the Swim Florida Masters group in Ft. Myers Florida. These workouts are free for anyone who chooses to use them. Some may find them challenging, others may find them easy, in either case I hope that all will enjoy. EE

20x25 - :40 (Odd underwater streamline kick, even EZ backstroke.)

800 swim, 200 Kick

16x75 first 8 - 1:20 kick, drill, swim. Last 8 - 1:10 swim

12x100 in 4 sets of 3 ( 1:40, 1:20, 1:20 the for first three sets - last set 1:30, 1:15, 1:15)

16x50 - 1:00 Choice

Swim down

200 - 400

=4400 - 4600 SCY




Tuesday June 8


Warm up
400 swim, 400 pull, 200 kick


12x50 - 1:10 (50 right arm, 50 left arm, 50 fists, 50 swim)

1x500 - 8:00 moderate pull or swim
5x100 - 2:30 FAST choice. There will be enough time for an EZ 50 between if you like.
1x500 - Moderate


Time limit kicks - All out effort kick for the specified duration
1 for 1:00 - 2 for :45 - 3 for :30 - 4 for :20

20x25 - :40 Moderate, underwater, moderate, sprint.

400 EZ

=4600+ SCY (some people will get a little further on the time limit kick)

5x200 Pick your own interval, reducing by :10 on each so #5 is out of reach.
